October 2003, Coleman Education Opportunities received a "Certificate

efforts and accomplishments of outstanding
citizenship and activities enhancing
community betterment, which have great value to the County of Los Angeles, and
which have helped to further the AHA mission of saving lives."
Shari Coleman was acknowledged by the AHA Chairpersons of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) for scholarly contribution in the systematic review and presentation to the International Audience on the topic of "Does Community-side Media Campaigns decrease patient delay in response to chest pain." A summary of the findings will be published in Circulation and Resuscitation Journals. This information will produce council (country) specific resuscitation guidelines.
Shari Coleman had the privilege of and is listed as one of the contributing authors of the 2005 Guidelines. Refer to page B2, "Education Subcommitte" in the "2005 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECG" Journal.
Shari Coleman served as a Founding Member of the ECC Education Committee of the American Heart Association (2003-2005).
