"Electric Madmen" is an anthology compiled of the award-winning stories from the 2024 COLEMAN Ediciones International Short Story Contest. The proposed theme was artificial intelligence. The winning story was "I Want You to Be Called Mario" by Ángeles Guindel. The story " Children of the Electric Mind " by Gonzalo Gómez was included in the out-of-competition selection as the winning author of the 1st School of Writers' Quick Writing Contest.
"The thirteen stories in this anthology introduce us to artificial intelligence from multiple perspectives, recreating a world that will help readers become aware of the historical moment we are experiencing. AI is changing the world at an accelerated pace, and we must be aware of its benefits and risks, using it responsibly, because as its development continues, it will have an even more profound impact on our lives.
