Monterroso already told us that flies invade literature. However, with this book, the author and its authors have decided that there is still room for more stories about them, or perhaps they have wished to join that tireless, eternal flight that fades into the night of our memory and will continue beyond the equally hazy horizon of each of us. So it has been and so it will be. The Honduran writer once said it again: "The fly that landed on your nose today is a direct descendant of the one that landed on Cleopatra's."
